Church of St. Nicholas, Chernozoltsy
Wooden temples of Hutsulshchina are a great cultural and spiritual heritage of the people. Wooden temple architecture here is in special esteem. There are three different styles of Carpathian wooden religious buildings: the Lemkovsky, the Boykovsky and the Hutsul - in accordance with the names of the regional groups of Ukrainians.
The wooden church of St. Nicholas in the ancient village of Chernozeltsi, first mentioned in chronicles in 1390, erected in 1910 in the best traditions of the Hutsul architectural school. class = "apple-converted-space">In honor of the church's century, a commemorative crosswas placed here.
The doors of the church of St. Nicholas are open to parishioners and tourists. The temple belongs to the UOC-KP and is an architectural monument of local significance.
