Nikolaev Church, Viktorov

It was created in the 13th century by monks hundreds of kilometers from the nearest settlement. Then the monastery began to grow with the graves of the buried novices and eventually it turned out a whole cemetery, which closely adjoins the structure of the church.

The sonorous name of the temple was in honor of St. Nicholas, the episode of the relics of which are in the building and are strictly guarded. An important landmark of the church is recognized as unique paintings on the inner walls. The painstaking work was done by the local famous artist K. Ustiyanovich. The youngest structure of the church ensemble is the bell tower. It was added to the 130th anniversary of the shrine. In addition, another proof of the special position of this locality is considered to be a natural miracle & ndash; oak, which is more than 700 years old. An unusual tree grows in the courtyard of the temple. To date, the doors of the Church of St. Nicholas are open to parishioners and all comers.
