Transfiguration Church, Tuchin
The Transfiguration Church is an ancient wooden church located in the very center of the village of Tuchin. Despite the fact that this church was built on a stone foundation in the distant 1730, it is still valid
.>The Holy Transfiguration Church is a real pearl of the Volyn folk architecture. For the wooden cult architecture of Podillia and the Left Bank of Ukraine from the 17th to 18th centuries it was typical to erect a shrine in the form of a log house divided into three parts, which in its axis is very similar to a ship. But unlike other churches of that time, Preobrazhenskaya has a more developed external plastics. Each frame of the temple as if independently stretches upwards, where it ends with its own octagonal head.
The color solution of the Holy Transfiguration Church is also interesting. Its facade is painted with a sky-blue paint, the roof has a dark blue color. Only the middle part of the frame and all the small chapters are gilded. Thus, the image of a sun surrounded by light and dark cloudsis created.
