All-Church Church, Kherson

Church of All Saints (Cemetery Church) is located in the center of Kherson. Its history begins with the temple in 1792, when a small chapel was built. It was located in the cemetery of the city and served as a funeral site for the residents who died, as well as heroes defending their hometown. When Kherson began to expand, it was decided to expand the temple. Therefore, in 1804 the construction of a large stone church began, which lasted until 1808. Then the wooden iconostasis was also consecrated.

The the church is made in the classical style. Later, it underwent a slight overhaul, but its appearance remained intact. When the persecution of the church began, in 1922 all the valuable things were taken from the temple, and in 1929 they removed all bells and melted into the needs of the city. Even in this state of worship in this temple did not stop. This is the only church in the city that never closed. At the time of Ukraine's independence, the All-Church Church began to revive and its bells reappeared.
