Memorial to the victims of the Holodomor, Mykolayiv

Most of Ukraine was subject to terrible tests of the Holodomor of 1932-1933. Almost every family has experienced the pain of losing loved ones at the hands of brutal Soviet power. Commemorative memorials have been erected in memory of the dead throughout the country.

In Nikolaev, too, there is a memorial to the victims of the Holodomor, which was established in 1993. In 2003, the obelisk was reconstructed. The monument is on the Kherson highway and is a stone cross. It reminds the descendants of the mistakes of the past and the value of human life.
