Camp of the UPA Volyn-Yug, Antonovs

Museum in the open air "Camp of the military district of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army" Volyn-South "is located near the village of Antonovtsy in the tract Degtyarnya. Its opening took place in 1992. In the place of the present museum in the period 1942-1944 the military headquarters of one of the UIA districts was deployed.

The open-air museum "Camp of the military district of the Ukrainian insurgent army" Volyn - South "is located near the village of Antonovtsy in the tract Degtyarnya. Its opening took place in 1992.

In place of the current museum in the period 1942-1944 the military headquarters ofone of the UIA counties was deployed. The commander of the detachment of the partisan I. Klimishin, who took the pseudonym Crook, was the creator of the headquarters. He became famous for organizing successful military operations against the fascists.

In memory of the immortal glory of the heroes in the museum the memorial of theUkrainian Insurgent Army was opened. Also here are the most famous camp sites: the district headquarters, the school of the school of elders, a chapel, a bunker. All exhibits of the museum have the maximum similarity with real objects and objects, so they fully convey the atmosphere of those hard times. Also on the territory of the museum is the cemetery of the dead soldiers of the army.
