Lions of Serengeti

The Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, covers an area of almost 15 thousand square kilometers. This unique park is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is the most famous national park of the country.

One of the features of the Serengeti is the annual migration of over one million wildebeest and several hundred thousand zebras. In addition to the above, the national park is a refuge for three million large animals. Three and a half thousand of this number are lions. Photographer Nick Nichols and cameraman Nathan Williamson decided to focus on the life of the czarist animals and within two years created an impressive collection of photographs called "Serengeti Lions".
