Three peaks of Lavaredo
In Italian, this place sounds like Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Perhaps, in the Alps, in particular in the Dolomites, it is difficult to find a more famous place where tourists made so many photos. Until 1919, three peaks were a conditional boundary.
In principle, the three Lararedo peaks are now the boundary, but internal. And until the beginning of the last century, they were a conditional division between Italy and Austria. From east to west these three peaks bear the names: Small peak (Cima Piccola, 2857 meters), Big peak (Cima Grande, 2999 meters) and Western peak (Cima Ovest, 2,973 meters).

There are many roads and hiking trails that lead to peaks. If you move to the tops on foot, then you will definitely come across whole glades of alpine yellow poppies.

The first conquest by mountain climbers of these peaks occurred in the XIXth century.
