New Town Hall, Chortkov

The new Town Hall is located in the city of Chortkiv in the Ternopil region. This building was built in the style of constructivism and was built from 1926 to 1930. The new town hall is located in the central city square.

The new Town Hall is located in the central city square. It is noteworthy that the old town hall also survived. At the moment it is used as a shopping pavilion and a fast food cafe.

The need for the construction of a new room for the town hall appeared when the old one no longer placed the administration of the magistrate, except for which the fire brigade and police were also housed in the building. The building was led by Polish architect Yu. Kuntsevsky. The new building has a low decorative clock tower and a strict decoration of the facade.

To date, the building has been preserved in the same form as it was built, in addition, it continues to perform the functions assigned to it. The Town Hall is the city ​​administration of the city of Chortkiv. Not far from the building you can see the monument of T. Shevchenko.
