The Ascension church is an ancient cult building. The annals mention its existence in the 15th century, but they assume that they founded the church in the 13th century.

This stone, one-nave building with fortified buttresses. Previously, it served for defensive purposes for Vinogradov, and its three-tiered bell tower functioned as a watchtower. The temple, during its existence, has been rebuilt more than once. In the 18th century there was a reconstruction of the temple, after which it acquired the present form.

The Ascension church is built in the style of minimalism. A molded coat of arms above the entrance, fragments of ornamental fresco painting, stone carving in the Gothic style, Romanesque and Gothic portals, located on the northern and southern facades ... all this was preserved in its original form.

To date, the temple is functioning. To visit the Catholic Ascension church will be really interesting for all visitors of the city.
