Mykolayiv church, Danilovo
The Nikolaevsky temple is located in the Khust district of the Transcarpathian region in the village of Danilovo. The church was built in 1779. This temple is interesting because it is an excellent example of a Gothic style building and is considered the youngest Gothic temple of Khustshchyna.Extraordinary and beautiful is given to him by a thin, high spire, which can be seen from afar. To create the temple used an oak bar, which was placed on a stone foundation. It is interesting that for its creation it took more than 5 thousand goose and chicken eggs.Until now, the iconostasis, 9 icons and painting by artist I. Kornmaer have been preserved.
Danilovskaya church is popular not only because of the style in which it was made, but also because of its geographical location. It is included in the so-called Golden Church Quadrilateral. This is a conventional geographic area, at the corners of which there are four villages with their wooden ancient churches. This place will surely be interesting for lovers of Gothic style and unusual temples.
