Church of the Resurrection of the Lord (Zolochiv)

The Church of the Resurrection of the Lord was built in the 17th century in one of the oldest cities in the Lviv region - Zolochev. Its appearance is due to Polish nobleman Yakub Sobiesky, who was an active public figure. At first the building was used as a parish Catholic church.

At first the building was used as a parish Catholic church. However, today it is an active Orthodox church. The building is a monument of Renaissance architecture of national importance. Having overcome such a long and difficult path, the temple still exists, never ceasing to amaze tourists with its antiquity and safety.

Zolochev is an amazing townthat attracts tourists with its picturesque landscape, ancient architecture, traditions and convenient location (located between Lviv and Ternopil). Its highlight is Zolochiv Castle.
