The Church of the Holy Archangel Michael is one of the most amazing places that is worth visiting in the west of Ukraine. Its walls were visited by many historical figures of the Ukrainian church, culture and art. The church is located in a small town near Lviv.

The church is located in a small town near Lviv. It was built in 1891-1910 by the project of the then famous architect Ivan Levinsky .The church is built in neo-Byzantine style, theinteriors are decorated with magnificent monumental paintings. This temple is the only surviving example of the temple painting of the outstanding artist Modest Sosenko. In the past, Lviv clergy and intellectuals came to Podberezytsi specially to see the painting of the place. The stained-glass windows presented here are the first works of the newest stained glass art in Ukraine.

The Church of the Holy Archangel Michael is worth seeing. In Galicia, it is still famous as an exemplary temple,decorated in Ukrainian style.
