Historical and Regional Museum of Radekhiv Region

The history of Western Ukraine is rich and diverse. Each region is distinguished for its vivid traditions, all sorts of legends and epic stories. In the historical and local history museum of the Radekhiv region you have the opportunity to better know this region.

The Historical and Regional Museum in Radekhovo was opened in 2004. The museum consists of several halls. Now it has more than 1500 exhibits.

The expositions of the museum of local lore are covered by the following topics: "Archeological sites of the region, ethnography of the region", "Flora and fauna of the province", "National liberation war in Radekhivshchina", "Outstanding personalities of the province", "Education and history of schools of Radekhivshchina", "From the history of creation Ukrainian state ".

The most interesting is the exact recreation of the life of the Radekhiv people. The museum staff thought it through. Furniture, clothes, household utensils create a unique interior of the peasant hut. There is a feeling of complete immersion in that era and time. The museum is open from 9:00 to 18:00, the weekend is Saturday.
