Historical Archeological Museum Ancient Aratta - Ukraine
The Museum "Ancient Aratta - Ukraine" is located on the central territory of the most ancient excavations, in the village of Tripolye. The settlement received its name in honor of the centuries-old Trypillian culture, which flourished on these lands in the 5-2 millennium BC. Archaeological excavations have been conducted here since the middle of the 19th century, and their number has long since passed over several hundred. Most of the priceless artifacts are in all local history museums of the country, but some of them were bought by private collectors. One of these collectors was A. Polishchuk, who founded the picturesque museum complex"Ancient Aratta - Ukraine".
Ancient Aratta is, presumably, a period in Tripoli culture or the name of a citythat historians describe as a shopping center in the 3rd millennium BC. Ukrainian Aratta is a special direction in the culture of the ancient nationalities of Tripoli.
Thanks to the unusual historical and archaeological museum, guests can thoroughly and visually familiarize themselves with all the important features of this culture. The museum complex consists of three parts. Getting into the museum yard, you can see a small two-storey house-hut (this is the first exposition of the complex, restored according to the sketches of Tripolye's habitation). In the center of the courtyard is the museum itself - a three-story building with an interesting painted façade. On the second floor there is an exposition with objects of life ofTrypillians, at the first one - an art exhibition of things and equipment of Ukrainians of the 19th century.
