Tripolsky Park

An unusual park, named after the ancient Trypillian culture, is located in the central part of the town of Rzhyshchiv, in the face of the building of the local city council. This park was founded recently, it can be thoroughly acquainted with the main subjects of the oldest nationalities, who inhabited the land thousands of years ago. Neighboring Trypillya, a village nearby, is considered one of the largest places in which prehistoric artifacts of the Trypillian culture period were found.

The age of the Trypillian finds totals about 8000 thousand years, the dawn of culture falls on 5000-2000 BC. The significance of the excavations is recognized as invaluable, they are all kept in city museums and entered the textbooks of world history. The main territory of residence of these peoples is the place from Romania to the middle of Ukraine (the supposed border runs along the Dnieper River). The culture is rich in hundreds of clay crafts, utensils, work tools and objects for traditional rituals.

In Tripoli Park you can see enlarged sculptures, exactly repeating the shape and drawing of the most ancient artifacts. In it you can find images of sunny hours, flowers, birds, animals, the figure of a woman in traditional ornamentand much more, created by masters named Bilyk and Sivak. The park is complemented by themed plantations, a picturesque alley and beautiful plants, creating a green background for interesting sculptures.
