Temple of John the Baptist
The construction of the Temple in honor of the Cathedral of John the Baptist on the Dnipro Embankment was started in 2007. The 30-meter building of the temple is made in the form of a Greek cross, crowned by a large bronze sculpture of John the Baptist.
The statue was consecrated by His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine in 2010. The belfry of the church consists of 16 bells, the modern belfry is equipped with computer control. The Church of St. John the Baptist is one of the most beautiful monuments of religious architecture in Dnepropetrovsk.
