The biggest tree house in Japan
The author of the largest tree house in Japan is the sculptor Takashi Kobayashi. This project is the fruit of a joint cooperation of the Japanese with his countryman Hiroshi Nakamura (Hiroshi Nakamura) from the studio NAP Architects.

The house on the tree was created on the special order of the resort Risonare, located on the Japanese island of Kohama, near the island of Taiwan. The construction of the house literally surrounds a 300-year-old camphor tree. The very same house was built not in this resort, but in a small town on the island of Honshu, called Atami. This place in Shizuoka Prefecture is known as a tourist center with hot springs. Previously, the tree was scanned by a 3D scanner. On it were found hundreds of key points, which were subsequently fixed by the house using a metal grid. The house does not prevent the tree from growing further. The project was named Kusukusu and is by far the largest in Japan.
