Surrealistic Istanbul in the Flatland photo project
Turkish photo artist and designer Aydın Buyuktas (Aydın Buyuktas) was born in Ankara, but is much more in love with the older Istanbul. It was the love of the city and the novel by Edwin Abbott Flatland that inspired the author for an original project.

The digital series of works by Aydın Buyuktas suggests taking a look at the surreal urban landscape of Istanbul, which suddenly becomes completely horizontal. As the author himself says, he wanted to demonstrate the irony and multidimensionality of our world, which everyone is still trying to squeeze into some conventions and frameworks. Uniquely, in Aydin it turned out perfectly well.
