Wolfsschanze - wolf lair in the forests of Poland
Wolfsschanze was one of the main bunkers of Adolf Hitler, in which, it is believed, almost all the key military operations of the German army were developed to move east.

The bunker is hidden in the depths of the Masurian forests, about eight kilometers from the Polish town of Rastenburg. It is believed that in this rate Hitler spent about 800 days. The bunker was supplied with unprecedented security systems, and now represents only ruins. The complex was hidden by a whole system of artificial plantings and had real defensive redoubts from anti-aircraft installations, tanks and mine fields. Some walls of the bunker had a thickness of about two meters. Despite the levels of protection, it was here that one of the most famous attempts on Hitler's life occurred. The bunker was destroyed in January 1945. This required about eight tons of TNT.
