The extraterrestrial landscapes of Busty Wasteland
In the northwest of the American state of New Mexico, there is an amazing place, with several names: Bisti, De-Na-Zin and a few lesser known. Local landscapes look incredibly phantasmagoric.

Perennial erosion by wind and water has turned the wasteland of Bisti into a place where you can shoot any fantastic film, telling about unknown planets. More than 70 million years ago there was a delta of a powerful river. The water gradually receded, and with it the lush vegetation and most of the local animal species began to die. When the water left finally, there were layers of mixed sandstone, siltstone, shale and coal. When the ice of the last glacial period began to melt six thousand years ago, they exposed the surface, which was diluted first by water, and then attacked by air masses.
