Easter craft

The Indonesian craftsman Wayan Sadra has been professionally painting eggs for the past seventeen years. And if everything started as a hobby, then now it's a large-scale business.

Once, a few weeks before the Easter, Vayan Sadra (Wayan Sadra) has an impressive number of orders. Most of them come from Europe: the Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy and other countries. Pisankas fit into individual wicker boxes. The master himself not only sells painted eggs, he also teaches his technique to his students. As Vaiyan recalls, it all started with the niece who worked in one of the local hotels, asked her uncle to paint some eggs for the upcoming Easter, to refresh and timed to the holiday of the hotel's rehab.
