620 horses in one Bentley…

This is the fastest Bentley in history – the latest-generation Continental GT Speed model – making its debut at the Goodwood Speed Festival, which opens on June 28, 2012. Under the hood of this coupe lies a modified 6-liter W12 engine equipped with twin turbochargers. Its rated power is 625 horsepower, and its maximum torque reaches 800 Nm.

From 0 to 100 km/h, this powerful two-door vehicle with all-wheel drive accelerates in just 4.2 seconds, and its top speed reaches 329 km/h (for comparison, the previous GT Speed model had a top speed of 326 km/h and could reach 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds).

Compared to the base Continental GT coupe, the Speed version features more sporty tuning of the steering system and suspension. The suspension has also been slightly lowered for better handling. Orders for this 625-horsepower two-door model are now being accepted, with deliveries starting in October 2012.
