To avoid annoying readers, we will list only 10 of the most infuriating factors that can drive any citizen crazy.

10 of the most annoying things in the world:

1. “Cold calls” or unsolicited visits from salespeople or brokers without prior agreement, initiated solely by the seller/broker; this practice is restricted or even prohibited in some countries.
2. Mobile homes.
3> People who get ahead of you in line, even though they arrived after you (turns out, queues exist not only here).
4> James Blunt, the British musician.
5> Traffic police officers.
6> Drivers who don’t maintain safe distances.
7> Snakesy people who try to ingratiate themselves with others.
8> Chantal and Preston (likely referring to specific universities).
9> People who recently quit smoking.

After some thought, pro-otdyh.ru came up with its own list of things that really irritate us—sometimes even drive us crazy:

1. Queues. Yes, those already mentioned. But in Russia, there are far more of them, believe me: queues at hospitals, savings banks, movie theaters, government offices, supermarket cash registers…
2> When the item you like in a store doesn’t happen to be your size. And if it’s also on sale for 50% off, your whole day is ruined.
3> Young people sitting in cafes and smoking one cigarette after another, with intervals of about five minutes between. Not because they really want to, but just because they’re there.
4> Overpowered smartphones. They’re expensive, yet we usually only use them for texting, making calls, and using ICQ. Seriously, who uses apps on an iPhone? If you do, please don’t tell me—just try it once, okay?
5> Text messages like “Hey, what are you doing right now?” Just call and ask in person.

6> Girls at the beach with makeup on—it melts away so quickly! You feel like you’re surrounded by an indigenous tribe ready to attack.
7> Salespeople who ask “How can I help you?” every 30 seconds—these really make you want to run away from that store.
8> Salespeople hiding somewhere in the back of the store; only the sound of money can bring them out. We should pair these salespeople with those from point #7 so they can share their experiences. Maybe one group’s hyperactivity will help the other group learn something useful, and then the world will finally become a bit more stable.
9> Drivers who don’t give way to pedestrians. One day, when we buy cars ourselves, we’ll follow you everywhere you go!
10> Mosquitoes—these little bloodsuckers.

What irritates you? Journalists who honestly share their frustrations with us… well, those don’t count, okay?
