One hundred islands national park
One of the national parks in the Philippines is called Hundred Islands. Although, in fact, the total number of islands exceeds the one hundred mark and is 124 individual islands or exactly 123 during the tides in the Gulf of Lingen, which is in the north of the country.

The age of the islands is estimated at about two million years. At one time, these islands were part of a massive coral reef of the ancient sea, which stretched far into the interior of the country. All the islands, in due course, because of constant tides and tides, acquired the shape of hats of mushrooms. Some of them have small beaches, but more often, the coasts of the islands are covered with small shrubs. Only three of the 124 islands are accessible to tourists. Unfortunately, part of the coral reef was significantly damaged due to the use of dynamite and typhoons by poachers. Now the park is under state protection. There are limited places for diving, fishing is prohibited, and the coral reef is being restored by settling it with mollusks.
