Reserve Tripoli culture, Leggedzino

In the Cherkassy region of the Talnovsky district there is a small village of Legedzino. Its wide popularity in Ukraine and abroad it has acquired through the settlement of Trypillian culture found here. Later in this place, the State Historical and Cultural Reserve "Trypillian Culture" was created, in which you can visit and touch the history of ancient civilization.
Excavations of Trypillian fortifications
Trypillian fortifications, or as they are called Cucuteni-Tripoli, were located mainly in the south-eastern part of Europe.In their territory archaeologists have discovered so-called gigantic settlements, the area of which occupies 2,045 hectares. Eleven settlements were found here. For example, between the village of Legedzino and Talyanka there is a well-known ancient settlement of the Trypillian people. It is located on 450 hectares of land and in the 3rd century BC there lived fifteen thousand people. Approximately three thousand buildings were placed in a circle, which decreased to the center. Tripolskoye settlement was surrounded by high man-made ramparts, which provided him protection from hostile tribes.
You can see a partial reconstruction of this Trypillian settlement near the village of Legezino in the historical and cultural reserve. A museum dedicated to Trypillian megacities was created in Legezino. In addition to the partially reconstructed interior of Trypillia buildings, here you can see museum exhibits that are over 5 thousand years old.
This household products from clay - pitchers, bowls, bowls, kazanki. Here, tools of labor made of bones and silicon are also presented. In addition, archaeologists have discovered small clay figurines of animals and people, which may have been elements of the interior decoration of Trypillia dwellings.
In addition, under the village of Leggedzino, a Skansen was created - the Trypillian houses reconstructed by the scholars. In them, you can stop for a few days and take part in archaeological excavations. In the historical and cultural preserve "Trypillian Culture" an event called "Toloka" has been held for several years already. The guests of the reserve, if they wish, participate in the reconstruction of the Trypillian dwelling. To participate, you will need to initially deplete the clay. For this, clay with water and sex is mixed in the yard. After the guests in it "dance", a homogeneous mass is thrown on the house. After the work done, the assistants are treated to national dishes and snacks.
To visit the nature reserve "Trypillian culture", you will need to get to the city of Uman. From there you need to turn left in the direction of the village of Talnoe, where you will reach in half an hour.
