Country of free roses, Kirovo

"Rose Valley", "Paradise of Flowers", "Pink Republic" - these words describe admired fans of eco-tourism "The land of free roses" - a farm, founded in 1995 in the village of Kirovo of the Kominternovsky region by a man who is infinitely in love with his work, a farmer amateur floriculturist Nikolai Vasilyevich Gromlyuk.

Tens of thousands of unique seedlings, 500 varieties of "queen of flowers", are planted on 20 hectares of land simultaneously and grow. In the collection of Nikolai Vasilyevich there are even 12 varieties of rare blue roses.

A real rose is cultivated for three years. In the first year they plant a wild rose hive. Under each leaf of a dogrose "the future rose" sleeps ". On the second, the upper part is cut off and eyed, and the rose bud is planted. And only in the third year - they get the right sort.

The unforgettable magic aroma of flowering roses, the riot of colors and harmony with nature are greatly enhanced by the impression of tasting pink jam and liqueurs of various varieties and shades, which are prepared according to unique recipes from special varieties. Roses in the farm of the farmer blossom from spring to late autumn, but the brightest period is in May and June.

In addition to unique pink plantations, Nikolai Vasilievich with pleasure and inspiration breeds and sells many rare and unique plantssuch as: thuja and juniper, barberry, boxwood and lilac, paradise apple, birch, spruce, evergreen pyracanthus, Spanish drock, sugar cane maple and bird cherry, Japanese cherry blossom grafted on the cherry, and a peach grafted on almonds.
