Such clouds form between two streams of air or on the edges of air waves. As much as the wind did not blow, the lenticular cloud remains immobile. Lenticular clouds appear in the hilly and mountainous terrain and are usually located on the leeward side. Due to the continuous process of condensation of water vapor (vertical movement), the clouds and remain immobile. Most often, the appearance of such clouds signals a possible approximation of the atmospheric front.
