A unique farm of pigs mangalits, they are also called "sheep pigs", is located in the village of Botar Vinogradovsky district of the Transcarpathian region. First of all, its inhabitants differ from other breeds in their appearance. Mangalis pigs have a beautiful fluffy fur, which is known to be uncharacteristic for this kind of pet.

This pig breed is very rare and even more valuable.

Initially, breeders were brought out four breeds of mangalits - black, white, red and mixed. The most common breed in modern agriculture are white mangalitsy.

Mangalese meat is extremely tasty and dietetic. Mangalitz is a unique local breed of pigs, which is known not only in Ukraine, but also far beyond its borders. Several hundred of these wonderful animals live on the farm. They are contained in very good and comfortable conditions.And how else? After all, such beautiful and "elegant" pigs simply can not live in another way.

If you love animals, and especially such exotic ones, then you should definitely visit the mangalits farm in Botar and get to know its inhabitants more closely. There you will also see a monument of "curly pig."
