Lake Shelekhovsky

Not far from the village. Mezhirich in the impassable often lost Lake Shelekhov. It is a real pearl of nature. The lake is an object of national importance. It is believed that it appeared in the ice age. The size of the lake is small - 7 hectares, and the water in it is clean and transparent. The northern side of it is called Guzir is a picturesque place where you can meet local fishermen who can tell a lot of legends about this wonderful corner of nature. One of them: many years ago on the shore of the lake, the centurion Stepan Selikhovsky built himself a manor. In honor of it, the lake was named, although the manor was not preserved.

Getting to Lake is not easy, because you need to wade through the age-old thickets of an old park. Perhaps that's why there are not many tourists here. These places are famous for pottery and many local people are engaged in the manufacture of household items and utensils.
