Boromlya Borough
Boroml's tract is located in the northern part of Konotop in the Sumy region. The nature protection territory of national importance occupies a small area of 55 hectares. The tract is of great valuein the field of flora and fauna. The reserve territory has been a part of Konotop forestry since 1975.
The reserve is located on the river Sejm and during the flood period becomes a small island. It includes 6 small lakes and a forest. On the banks grow shrubs and sedge. The plant world is represented by a variety of tree species: perennial maples, lindens and oaks. Some of them have a unique girth of a trunk in diameter up to 5 meters. The fauna is represented by colonies of gray herons, gray hares, badgers, forest martens, foxes. Sometimes you can meet moose.
