Zgurovsky Park

Ukraine is famous for its abundance of beautiful parks, most of which were created in the 18-19th centuries. One of the largest dendroparks in Ukraine is located in the village of Zgurovka. The area of the park is 309 hectares.

Kyiv's vice-governor P. Kochubei founded it in the 19th century as a gift for his wife S. Viazemskaya. The park was divided around the built count's palace, where there were 40 rooms, a huge mirrored reception room and a valuable library. The farmstead in Zgurovka was the most favorite vacation spot for the whole family.

Zgurovsky Park has landscape planning, where 382 species of trees and bushes grew, at the moment only 150 are preserved. On all sides it is lined with forest shelter belts. The main attractions of the park are: a 400-year-old oak, a century-old pine in the form of a lyre, a pine in the form of a trident, and the Khivrin Sea, which is located in the center of the park.

Unfortunately, nothing has survived to the present day, but here the park helps us to fantasize about the grandeur and magnificence of the palace. Walking along the alleys that lead to ponds, you will feel the beauty of these places.
