Ukraine is famous for its abundance of beautiful parks, most of which were created in the 18-19th centuries. One of the largest dendroparks in Ukraine is located in the village of Zgurovka. The area of the park is 309 hectares.
Kyiv's vice-governor P. Kochubei founded it in the 19th century as a gift for his wife S. Viazemskaya. The park was divided around the built count's palace, where there were 40 rooms, a huge mirrored reception room and a valuable library. The farmstead in Zgurovka was the most favorite vacation spot for the whole family.
Zgurovsky Park has landscape planning, where 382 species of trees and bushes grew, at the moment only 150 are preserved. On all sides it is lined with forest shelter belts. The main attractions of the park are: a 400-year-old oak, a century-old pine in the form of a lyre, a pine in the form of a trident, and the Khivrin Sea, which is located in the center of the park.
Unfortunately, nothing has survived to the present day, but here the park helps us to fantasize about the grandeur and magnificence of the palace. Walking along the alleys that lead to ponds, you will feel the beauty of these places.

On its bank was then located the farm Zatelbin Bereznyak, through which ran the way of pilgrims to the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. Its name, according to one version, the lake received from the word "telba", which means "old riverbed". After all, once, during the spring floods, the lake was connected with the mighty Dnieper. In the 19th century a mound was built right in the center of the lake and a railway was built, dividing it into two parts. After 100 years around Telbin, the built-up residential area of Bereznyaki grew and active development of the territory began. From the former area of the reservoir, only 40% remained.Continuing the Christian traditions of the past, in this picturesque place were erected three churches and the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin and Annunciation. The lake left a trace in the history of cinematography: in 1986, the film "The End of Vacations" about Viktor Tsoe and the group "Kino" was shot here.Despite the massive development, the lake is considered to be large. Its area exceeds 12 hectares, and the depth is 13 meters. Due to the extensive system of streams and underground springs that feed the lake, it is clean and transparent. Telbin is in the form of a boomerang. A spacious coastal strip of 11 hectares is used as a recreation area. Around this natural pond stretches a cozy city park with many trees, flowering bushes and well-kept flower beds. Also equipped with a beach with convenient access ramps. Here you can have a great time: rent a boat, have a snack in a small cafe, just dive and soak up the sun.Frequent guests of Telbin are fishermen, because in its waters there live bream, carp, carp, carp, thick-flesh, pike perch and pike.Today, Lake Telbin is one of the few ecologically clean water reservoirs that Kiev and Kiev guests like to rest on the shore. You can get here by metro to the station "Levoberezhnaya", as well as by city buses.
