For a long time Ukrainians had taken oaks out of houses, it brought happiness and luck to the house. So decided to do and in Zaporozhye. On the day of the 20th anniversary of the end of World War II, 38 war heroes who defended and liberated the Zaporozhye region solemnly planted oak alley. The monument is unique in that it is the most peaceful monument of all that are devoted to war heroes. What distinguishes him is that he is eternal. In 1973, the alley continued on the other side of the street. Nowadays, the Walk of Fame has a developed infrastructure, many benches and rest areas are equipped, the sidewalks are lined with modern tiles.
