Quay highway - road in Zaporozhye, it passes along the bank along the Dnieper River. Construction was started in 1976, the main goal for the opening of the road was the need to create a bypass road for transit and freight transport and, as a consequence, to relieve the streets of Lenin. The project is grandiose, the route along the Dnieper was to become the best road in Zaporozhye, a place where every motorist of the city on a flat road could accelerate its car at a high speed. The road passes from the bridge of Preobrazhensky to Zaporozhye-1 station. The carriageways divide the lawns. While laying the Embankment, several boat piers were destroyed, but it was decided to wash the shore and transfer the whole coastal territory there.
