Literary-memorial museum of Lesya Ukrainka, Novograd-Volynsky

The literary-memorial museum of L. Ukrainka is located in the city of Novograd-Volynsky Zhytomyr region. It is located in a small house, where once lived a famous poet.

The museum was opened in 1971. It was timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the birth of L. Ukrainka. In the museum house, the masters managed to recreate the atmosphere of the living room and children's room of those times with maximum accuracy.

The greatest interest among the exhibits of the museum is the personal belongings of L. Ukrainka. Among them: embroidered handmade, beads, cup, pencil case. The museum also presents other household items, once owned by members of the Kosach family. Among them there are beautiful bronze and porcelain figurines, books, dishes, furniture.

In the literary-memorial museum there is a separate corner in which literary heritage of the Ukrainian poet,reviews of other eminent authors about the work of Lesya Ukrainka, works by masters from the people.
