Korosten porcelain factory

Previously, this enterprise was famous throughout the country. The porcelain factory in a small town Korosten was conceived and created by the Polish industrialist T. K. Pribylsky in 1904-1909. At first it was a factory for the production of primitive white utensils, it was then packed and sent to Poland for coloring.

Then the plant experienced a lot: the emigration of the founder of the plant in 1917, the nationalization of the Soviet power, the closure due to a shortage of raw materials, the resumption of activities in 1922-1923. Then there and formed the enterprise "Ukrfarforyanyglass". We made, basically, a table and tea utensils. In 1926, he was called the Korosten Porcelain Factory named after I. Dzerzhinsky ". The plant was destroyed during the Second World War, rebuilt in 1944.

In the 60s of the last century the plant expands. The release begins, except for household utensils, sculptural items. His products were famous not only in Ukraine, but all over the world.

Today it is closed due to bankruptcy. Only the room-museum in the Korosten House of Culture stores its memory.
