Museum of Local Lore, Belgorod-Dnistrovsky

Themis and was built in the 19th century in Empire style. Once the museum was called Akkermanskyand was created back in 1940. For its creation, archaeological excavations have been carried out, which have been conducted in these parts since the 1900s. It was they who gave the museum many valuable exhibits. The museum had two directions: historical and general. In the second, various collections of weapons, numismatics, engravings were collected. During the Great Patriotic War, he was plundered. Only after its termination, the museum revived and resumed its work.

At the moment the museum is open and accepting visitors. In it there are two departments - scientific-exposition and scientific-educational,which are located in 9 halls. There you can see the whole history of this region: from its settlement by the first people to this day. The museum is very famous, took part in various international exhibitions.
