Lake Blue
It is small in size and consists of two funnels. It is assumed that these are the craters of extinct volcanoes, which were flooded with water. Since the lake feeds the hydrogen sulphide source, its waters are saturated with useful minerals. This gives the lake a pleasant bluish color. As a result of these features, it received such a name.
Nowadays the water in the Blue Lake is gradually overgrown with reeds and turns into a small mountain swamp with an area of about 2 hectares. There is no fish, no amphibians, no insects. Despite this, the lake remains an interesting landmark of the Transcarpathian region. Along the shores of the lake there are many tourist routes and ecological trails. For a fee, any traveler can ride on a raft on a raft. Water from the lake is actively used by local sanatoriums for the treatment of various diseases. To reach the lake is possible if you follow the valley of the mountain stream Upper Potok.
