Marmaroshsky reserve array

The Marmaroshsky reserve area is located in the Rakhiv district of the Transcarpathian region near the border of Ukraine with Romania. Due to this neighborhood the mountain reserve is named after the Romanian part of the Carpathians. The Marmarosh massif differs sharply from the rest of the Transcarpathian Mountains, but is very similar in structure and composition to the ridge of Romania. The Marmaroshsky Reserve is located in the Rakhiv district of the Transcarpathian region near the Ukrainian border with Romania. The Marmarosh massif differs sharply from the rest of the Transcarpathian mountains, but is very similar in structure and composition to the mountain range of Romania.

It is a beautiful nature, preserved without the absolute interference of humanity. Its area is 8990 hectares, the height is & ndash; from 700 to 1940 meters above sea level. The reserve is saturated with a variety of vegetation from deciduous forests with impurities of fir and coniferous trees. It is noteworthy that the climate here is much cooler than other protected areas of Transcarpathia. As a rule, the average temperature in the summer does not exceed 18.5 degrees. The main peak of the Marmarosh massif is the mountain of Pop Ivan, its maximum point is & ndash; 1940 meters. The surface of the mountain is mixed with alpine grasses, beech woodlands, valleys of limestone.

Lovers of beautiful mountain scenery can also visit the  reserve of Rogneska, famous for its unusual vegetation and plains of green carpets.
