Church of St. Michael the Archangel, Negrovets

Between the two pearls of Western Ukraine - the National Park "Synevyr" and Kolochava hid a small village Negrovets. Its only attraction is the ancient church of St. Michael. It is well known that the temple marks the beginning of the village of Negrovets for more than 200 years.

It's amazing that St. Michael's Church in Negrovets is the only instance of Boyk architecture,preserved in the original form. The interior of the church is fascinating with carving. The wooden frame of the icons and the decoration of the walls add to the temple a sense of comfort and cleanliness.

The real highlight of St. Michael's temple is that it is located at the foot of one of the Carpathian Mountains. Local residents argue that the most beautiful view of the church and bell tower opens from the slope of the mountain above the buildings.

Today the Church of Archangel Michael waits for the congregation around the clock. The complex takes on special beauty during church holidays.
