St. George's Church, Malaya Kardashinka

St. George's temple is located in the village of Malaya Kardashinka in the Kherson region. The project for the construction of the church was designed in 1903 and according to the architect's plan the temple was calculated for 500 people.The main architect was Kazimir Quinto. September 27 of the same year, the plan for the construction of the temple was adopted as the main and construction began. It lasted until 1912, but all this time the divine services did not stop. When all the works were finished and the St. George Church opened its doors to the parishioners, a bell rang in the bell tower, informing about it. In the 1930s the church was closed. In the 1960s, its premises began to be used as a warehouse. Then it housed a school and a club, but all these events did not affect the appearance of the temple. It is still considered one of the most beautifulin Kherson.

In the 90 years of the last century St. George Church was returned to Orthodox parishioners and its restoration began. Today the church services are held.
