It should be said that the very idea of building a church on the banks of the Dnieper is not new. At the beginning of the 19th century, near the current river station, there was a wooden chapel, which was later destroyed by the Bolsheviks. The construction of the new church was started only in the 2000s, the most destroyed chapel was taken as the basis of the project.

Now on the bank of the river there is a 23-meter building in the shape of a candle, which from afar resembles a blooming chestnut. In order to get inside the temple, you need to walk along the 15-meter bridge. Although the church is small in size and can accommodate no more than 50 people, it has become a favorite place for the people of Kiev, among whom there are many lovers.
