Church of Peter and Paul, Irshava
The Peter and Paul Church in Irshava in Transcarpathia was built in 1825 on the site where the wooden church used to stand. At first it was a Greek Catholic church, but later it passed into the hands of Orthodox believers. Catholics are coming to worship here again.
In 1939, the temple was decorated with a ringing weight of 900 kilograms.
Recently, the church twice significantly repaired. In 1969, the artist Selivanov painted new wall paintings, the next time the church was repaired in 1997. The Church of the High Apostles Peter and Paul is located in the city centera few minutes walk from the railway station.
