A local history museum opened at the ecological visit center of the National Nature Park "Sinevir" is not an ordinary exposition on dusty shelves or in glazed halls, but an exhibition in the open air. On the territory of the "living" museum of local lore, a typical settlement that was in Verkhovyna until 1920 was completely reproduced. Here you can walk along the streets, look into each of the 20 buildings.

On the territory of the "living" museum of local lore, a typical settlement that was in Verkhovyna until 1920was completely reproduced. Here you can walk along the streets, look into each of the 20 buildings. They depict the life of the mountaineers, who were engaged in various activities and having different social and financial positions.

Immediately after the massive wooden gate of the "Visit Center" are the houses of Leshorub and Bednyak. From them there is a path paved with pebbles raised from the bottom of mountain rivers, which leads to the Gendarme station. Further - the house of Ovchar, Mill, Forge and Well, in which for the delight of visitors were started newts. There are many buildings here, including the chapel and the parish school, which perfectly convey the spirit of that time.

In this museum, not only walk, examine, listen to guides. Ethno-festivals, master classes and thematic conferences that take place in the amphitheater under the open sky are regularly held on the territory of the Visit Center.
