Pushkinskaya 44 (formerly Pushkinskaya 40)

Property owned by A.A. Lemer. On the plot of land located between Chernoglazovskaya and Sadovo-Kulikovskaya streets, there are several buildings. One of the oldest structures on this street is the mansion of the wine merchant Lemer – during the Soviet era, it served as the Czechoslovak Trade and Industrial Mission; after the war, it was used by the regional book trade organization. The building was constructed while respecting the “red line” regulations.

Currently, the building bears the number 44. In the 1990s, an additional floor was added to its structure. For a long time, it was surrounded by two later-built residential buildings (originally single-story structures).

Today, this space is occupied by a restaurant belonging to a large chain with a rather poetic name: “44 Favorite Place”.
