This drink received its recognition during the American Prohibition in Havana. The cocktail was named after President Gerardo Machado and quickly became popular among the layers of Cuban high society.

Ingredients:

● white rum,

● dry vermouth,

● Orange Liquor (Grand Magnier or Orange Curaçao)

● Grenadine Syrup

Preparation:

1) In a shaker with ice, pour 50 ml of rum, 25 ml of dry vermouth, 25 ml of orange liqueur and 5 ml of grenadine syrup. Beat the shaker. Pour the mixture into a cocktail glass and enjoy its taste.
