Weston Sand Festival in England10 photos

On the coast of the Bristol Bay in the resort town of Weston-Super Mare, despite the bad weather in Europe, an annual sand festival is held, in which a large number of people from different parts of the world take part. The purpose of the event is to create sand sculptures.

In 2013, the theme of "Hollywood" was chosen to create sculptures. Many movie characters and actors were lined up in the sand, Harry Potter, Marilyn Monroe, and characters from the Star Wars movie, as well as resilient heroes from the Pirates of the Caribbean.
