Grishkovets’ play “City,” which was initially staged in Riga, later appeared at theaters in Moscow, including “School of Modern Drama” and “Tabakerkaya.”

At the Vienna Festival, the production of “How I Ate a Dog” (in German) won three awards: Best Actor, Best Play, and Best Translation. From 2004 to 2008, Grishkovets published five books: “Shirt,” “Rivers,” “Plank,” “Traces on Me,” and “Asphalt.” He is also the author of several musical albums. Evgeny Grishkovets is married and has three children.
