Cocktail Singapore Sling1 photos

The current recipe of this cocktail is very different from the original version, created in 1915 by Singaporean bartender Ndjam Tong Boon.

Initially, the drink was considered purely feminine, today it has become popular also among gentlemen.

Singapore Sling was drunk by such famous writers as Somerset Maugham and Joseph Conrad and the actor of the movie Douglas Fairbanks.

Ingredients:

● 40 ml of gin

● 20 ml Cherry Brandy

● 20 ml of freshly squeezed lemon juice

● Soda water

Preparation:

All ingredients, with the exception of soda water, pour into a shaker. Beat thoroughly. Strain into a glass. Add soda water (to taste). Decorate with a slice of pineapple and red maraschino cherry.
